Chinese seems to be the second name of inferior quality products. Everywhere you go, you are offered chinese or original. If anything packs up, it must be a chinese product. We are swamped by low quality chinese products. The fear of chinese seems to be the begining of wisdom

I gather our brothers, especially from across the niger go to china and ask them to water down quality to fit theor cost profile so that market will move. That theory does not really hold water, as I have bought products from chinese people, and they turn out to be inferior quality. My first diesel generator was made by Yifa, and literally came apart by vibration. The fuel tank, kick start and other components vibrated off the frame! it looked like science fiction right before my eyes. China town near alapere is the home of inferior products. where can we go to escape from inferior chinese products

I was hoping that Dora Akunyili would be posted to SON to shake that place up the way she did at nafdac, rather than become yar adua's propaganda chief. God save Nigeria from inferior chinese products

I have heard that story too, of our brothers going to china to order low quality products to sell to those who care only about the price.

The question I always ask is, can you go to Germany or any other industralized nation and make such a ridiculous request? Who will listen to you. Why only China? Why not India?

So if you ask a Chinese person to jump inside fire, they jump? Are they not aware that such sharp practice will impact negatively on the image of China?

Why is China the home of fake and inferior products? I think it is a question for the Chinese to answer. This craze for money has given China a bad name. They are the same people that went to South Sudan to prospect for blood oil, hence Beijing Olympics being dubbed "Genocide Olympics"

The funny thing is that good quality things also come from China. China is the home of massive outsourced American and European products. Most of the branded computers and cars we use are made (assembled) in China.

It is time our Standards Organization of Nigeria wake up fro slumber and start protecting our borders from fake chinese products, and burn those that have made their way in. People have died due to fake products - drigs, building materils, electrical fittings that cause fire etc.

As individuals, we can boycott chinese products until china learns its lessons, tow the part of integrity and export only quality products.

Chinese products is really a pain in the ass. Sadly, they have flooded the market. When you asks shop owners why they stock inferior quality products, they tell you that is the one that moves. Original ones are expensive, and people are not willing to buy. You can buy a flash drive for 2k, and it will last a few months, but that is what is affordable to most folks. Poverty is at the root of the matter.

If you want good quality products, go to where the rich live, you may find it there. Most of them shop abroad. It is the masses that are left to speak chinese. It is very unfortunate that SON seems to be overwhelmed. That is where Dora should have been posted to, rather than ministry of information to go and tell lies for the government

Dear Parlimentarians,

I too am a victim of these fake products, but the matter goes beyond China or india or singapore. What we are dealing with is an invasion of Brand Killers and they have destroyed our Brand Values. But not to fear as the Anti Counterfeiting and Piracy Initiative (ACAPI) has come to save Nigerians from the hands of these bad elements.

The Facts

*   Product adulteration and counterfeiting is a major problem dogging the Nigerian economy
*   Product adulteration and counterfeiting has lead many manufacturers and service providers in Nigeria to close shop
*   Product adulteration and counterfeiting has affected negatively the profit margins of genuine brands in Nigeria over the years
*   Product adulteration and counterfeiting has reduced consumer loyalty and confidence in world famous brands
*   Product adulteration and counterfeiting affects mostly popular brands that have gained national acceptance

The Solution

*   Install measures to curtail the problem of product adulteration and counterfeiting
*   Instill confidence in distributors and consumers of these brands

Why Use Correct Sources.Com
We understand consumer needs and create solutions that deliver satisfaction to the consumer. By doing this, we will deliver profits to the manufacturer and benefits to their stakeholders. Genuine brands use it because genuine consumers use it because genuine brands use it!

Our Vision
To becoming Nigeria’s most consumer-centric web portal

Our Mission
To empower the Nigerian consumer with the most up-to-date information to locate original products vendors

Our Business
Our business is not selling things; our business is to help consumers locate the original products vendors.

The fact of the matter is that most of us will simply not want to part with enough money to get the right products. If you want quality, then be ready to part with quality money. On the long run, its cheaper to spend more and get quality than the 'save' money buying a cheaper product that simply will stand the test of time.
